If you are looking for a quick walkthrough to get started on lock picking, then this 5 minutes tutorial video will be a good
place for you to start.
The tools you'll need here are:
- A Master Lock 532 (or any pin-tumbler lock)
- A torsion wrench
- And a pick
The Master Lock 532 (a five pin lock) can be opened by manipulating each pin inside the keyhole. To get started you'll have to
insert the torsion wrench in the opening of the key hole and maintain pressure on it. When you do this a ledge will be created to support the top
pin. Next, you'd have to push each pin up until it reaches the sheer line with the sheer line being between the tumbler and the lock.
This lock is fairly easy to open and very little feeling is required unlike with other locks. All you need to do is to tap each
pin lightly until they are set in place. After you have moved each pin into position all that’s left to do is turn the torsion wrench that is
still in the keyhole and give it a turn. The lock will open right up if the steps are done correctly.
